Born on March 29th, 1985. She was born in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina is the name given to her. of her. Gerina Stevenson, the child of Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. The mother of two is Mexican American as well as an American by citizenship. Since the age of a child, she has had a strong desire to participate in sports. Gerina began playing golf after she reached the age of 15. Gerina went to Goddard High School for her high school education. The school won her place in the New Mexico State Golf Tournament at the age of high school. In addition to volleyball, she competed on a state-level. She was a student at an institution called the University of Texas in 2003. While in her senior years, she won each tournament she entered. While in her university career, she was named Conference USA individual champion player of the year as well as UTEP Female Athlete of the Year.
